Think about environmental factors, like food in your cafeteria. Make healthy foods the most readily available and better yet the least expensive. Offer free bowls of fruit, granola bars, trail mix, etc. Also make sure to have clean filtered water, tea and coffee on hand, leaving less room for the temptations of soda & candy bars.
Another place to focus is the office space. Tools that can empower action can include: activity trackers, standing conference tables, free weights, biking & walking stations, etc. At the myInertia corporate office we convert a conference room into a body boot camp class twice a week. With low-cost fitness bands, a free online tabata timer & a few simple print out instructions we get active, have fun and socialize. You can incorporate other group concepts as well: implement a walking group/meeting, sign your company up for 5k, provide free weights for employees to use in their spare time, and more. The key is to choose the tools that fit best into your culture and budget.
